Hems To Help originated from the heartfelt experiences of its founders, who were moved by numerous stories of seniors struggling to maintain clean homes due to financial constraints or mobility issues. Having served as caregivers for their mothers, whom they fondly regard as personal "Heroes," they developed a strong passion for supporting the senior community. In their desire to give back and cherish the joyful moments spent with their mothers, Hems To Help emerged as the perfect avenue.
Commitment to helping others
The organization's name draws inspiration from the term "hem" in the Bible. Additionally, the acronym formed by the first letters of the founders' last names, along with the inclusion of 'P' for "people," reflects their commitment to helping others. Hems To Help proudly stands as the sole nonprofit organization in North Carolina that provides complimentary cleaning services to seniors.

Rhonda Logan is a proud alumna of Meredith College, with a deep passion for positively impacting lives. As a creative social worker and community advocate, she brings a unique blend of outside-the-box thinking and a giving heart to everything she does. With a deep commitment to enhancing personal and community well-being, Rhonda balances her multifaceted life of career, family, and faith with gratitude. She’s surrounded by a talented team whose expertise she values, as they grow and learn together. Looking ahead, Rhonda is excited to expand her nonprofit’s reach to serve more communities and embrace new opportunities for meaningful impact.
